Dom Rebel Spring 2010

The first photo of our Spring 2010 campaign, entitled "The Etiquettes of a Distinguished Gentleman". We shot the entire campaign in black & white, to really capture the mood of our collection. We wanted to emphasize a play on textures and monochromatic stacking.

The first of two deliveries will be available in stores on February 12th.

More Free Stuff? Hell Yes!

After giving away a hat last week on Twitter, we're showing some love for our Facebook fans!

Up for grabs is a White Playtime tee. All you have to do is respond to the giveaway thread on our facebook fan page (access it from the "La Galerie" section on our website, www.domrebel.com), telling us what has been your favorite Dom Rebel t-shirt of all time. We no longer post our old collections on our website, so we want to see if any of you remember some old school stuff!

We'll choose a winner this Friday, January 29th, at noon. The winner will be messaged via Facebook, and also announced in the thread. They will be able to choose the size of their shirt. And of course, the winner has to actually BE A FAN on our fan page.

Why do we even have any left you ask? Because we kept 4 pieces after we made them (one in each size).

The Pyramid tee is one of our favorite embellished pieces of our Spring 2010 collection, feature hundreds of Jet Hematite Swarovski crystals on a used black tee printed from top to bottom with pyramid punk studs.

We've added a few new pieces to our menswear lineup, including more patchwork plaid button ups and leather jackets. Fits are very slim and tailored, and every piece features intricate handwork done in Montreal.

The show is taking place at 82 Mercer, with a great new venue that creates a more intimate atmosphere. It's also in the middle of one of our favorite shopping areas of the city. We are showcasing the Dom Rebel menswear collection, jewellery collection and some of our favorite t-shirts from Spring 2010. Stay tuned all day today and this week for live postings from the show, where we will preview some new product hitting stores in two weeks!

Headed to Project NY

We're getting on the plane to New York City, where we will be showcasing our collection at the Project Tradeshow next week, starting on Monday. We like that the show has moved to a big loft space in SoHo, should be a great venue. We'll be posting all week once the show starts, with photos of our booth and some features on a few of the new products we are offering for Spring 2010, so check back starting on Monday. Free Stuff? Yes, Please!

Are we going crazy? Are we really giving away free shit? Damn Right. Every month, we will give away one free Dom Rebel product on Twitter, Facebook, and on our blog (that's three pieces a month, holy cow!). We're doing it because you've supported us since 2003, and it's a fun way for us to give back. Once in a while, we will even give away a one-of-a-kind piece that was either custom-made or not even featured in our collection.

For some reason, this week we've been bombarded with new information about knock off Dom Rebel. It's like some sort of fever that people are catching. There's a serious lack of originality in the world of fashion right now...not only from counterfeiters but from other brands as well. Unfortunately, we're waiting from words from our lawyers to see if we can post on our blog some of the really (REALLY!) surprising knockoffs we've come across.

Welcome to the new year everybody. We've taken a short little break to regain some energy, sun our buns down south, and now we're back in action to entertain you in 2010. It's quite cold up here in the Great White North, so to bring some relief to your frostbite, we find this song off Weezer's Raditude can bring some sun beams even to the coldest of days. Whenever you're in a shitty mood, you can always count on Weezer.
