Punk & Doll Gallery
Amidst the festivities surrounding our 6th anniversary celebration last week, we inaugurated our latest venture, the Punk & Doll Gallery. The space, an amalgam of exclusive and semi-exclusive creations from artists, designers and brands from all around the world, is also home to the Dom Rebel collections. Dom Rebel 6th Anniversary Fashion Show
We are still recovering from our hangover, but we'd like to thank all 800 invited Media and VIP guests who attended our 6th Anniversary mega-bash last night!!
We'll post hordes of photos for your enjoyment, from the cocktail in the private men's club in our building, to the over-the-top fashion show in the underground garage, and the launch of our Punk & Doll Art Gallery space.
But first, we are going to take a couple of Advil and call it a day.

AC/DC
Went to see AC/DC at the Olympic Stadium on Saturday with 53,000 people... I don't think any of us in this city have seen a concert as intense and electric in our lives! There are rockstars, there are supergroups....and then there's AC/DC, in a league of their own...

Dom Rebel Jewelry
For Fall 2009, we have launched a hyper-limited edition collection of Sterling Silver jewelry pieces. All pieces having been crafted in Montreal and feature serious hand work. Our intention was to show our dedication to craftsmanship and provide unique accessories made by the most expert of hands.
The collection is made up of 7 designs. For each design, only 10 pieces were made for Fall 09, for worldwide release in selected boutiques.
In Canada, our jewelry collection can be found at Influence U in Montreal, Due West in Toronto, High Grade Clothing in West Edmonton Mall, and Boys'Co on Robson in Vancouver. Only one piece of each design was released to each of these stores, and no more jewelry will be made available until February 2010.
The entire jewelry and Fall 09 collection will be online for viewing starting late tonight. We hope you enjoy.

Dom Rebel Fall 2009 Now Shipped
It's official! The Dom Rebel Fall 2009 collection, Filthy Glamour and Other Vicious Tales, has been shipped internationally. The pieces are expected to hit store shelves on Saturday morning, August 8th.
Vicious Tales features a new direction for us as our brand becomes a full menswear collection. The inspiration behind the collection comes from vintage horror flicks and red-light district culture, found in our own backyard in Montreal. Every design has a story that goes with it, sometimes printed within the design, on the back or on the inside of the shirt. We have never before put this much thought and concept into every design, and hope you will enjoy our vision. The collection represents our personal tastes more than ever before.
Dom Rebel now officially has four distinct divisions:
Dom Rebel Signature: A more classic and refined collection that maintains the edge that we have been known for. Our designs continue to push boundaries and cause controversy, all in good taste and good fun. The Dom Rebel Signature collection uses humour and sarcasm to bring across its underlying messages of freedom and libertine lifestyle.
Dom Rebel Art Gallery: A division of Dom Rebel that features more handwork and detailing, which allows us to show our more artistic and poetic side. For Fall 2009, we have went with a darker theme, featuring labour-intensive prints of chainsaws, gasmasks, engines and pyramid studs. The Art Gallery collection is intended to provoke thought, and our message depends on the point of view you take when perceiving our art. After all, beauty is truly in the eyes of the beholder…
DR82 by Dom Rebel: A division of Dom Rebel that carries on our tradition of unique color use and innovative dyeing and vintage treatments. DR82 is our most vibrant collection, with bold graffiti tags and street-inspired graphics. After having spent the last six years developing unique discoloration and dyeing techniques, we set ourselves loose with this collection by not setting any limits on the detailing of our shirts, which sometimes go through five stages of coloration.
Atelier Dom Rebel: Our workshop division that allows us to test the limits of our creative capacity. The emphasis on quality and craftsmanship is paramount in this division, as our small team of in-house artisans hand-set hundreds of Swarovski crystals, hand-sew leather jackets, denim, button shirts, wool vests and handcraft sterling silver jewelry pieces. Our Fall 2009 Swarovski collection features a more progressive look aiming to hit on dark emotions and laid-back glamour, using geometric shapes and only Black Diamond and Jet Hematite Swarovski crystals.
We sincerely hope you enjoy our work and our vision, as we continue designing collections that are intended to inspire and entertain you at the same time.
