Part-Time Lover.

The Part-Time Lover tee. 100 pieces limited edition (50 black, 50 white), released in selected stores on December 1st. The graffiti art is printed in a dark charcoal ink and has subtle gunmetal foil detailing all around. All the pieces from our limited Holiday collection were detailed with our specialty paints which we import from France and then carefully apply by hand.

Wolfmother, the best rock band of our generation, has finally released their followup album, Cosmic Egg. We've been waiting more than three years for this album, and it doesn't disappoint. Buy it!!

Vintage

Been perusing our archive collection for a while, and we've come across some cool finds. We're trying to build an elaborate archive that we can put up online of every Dom Rebel t-shirt (and garment for that matter) that we've ever made. Since we essentially try to re-invent ourselves each season, some classics get lost in time and we tend to forget we ever made them... And since we make such small quantites of all our styles, sometimes we don't even end up keeping one for ourselves. We've bought a couple of vintage pieces for ourselves on eBay, believe it or not...Seen above is our Hellcats tee from 2005.

Dom Rebel Holiday Collection 2009

Yes yes mofos! We will be releasing a small Holiday t-shirt collection in mid-November. The collection will consist of 5 new artworks, each in black and white. The collection will only be released in Canada, with the exception of a handful of international stores. We've only produced 50 pieces of each design.

Chanel S/S 2010 Spy Camera

Check out the vibe caught by one of the model's wearing a Spy Cam at the Chanel Spring/Summer 2010 Show. The huge set, which was basically a large ranch, was all painstakingly handmade near Paris. In the video, you can catch Karl backstage in the staircase, and the model walks out onto the runway at around 3:01. We want more!!!

Damien Hirst "The Blue Paintings"

I've always been a big fan of Francis Bacon. So when I learned that Damien Hirst's newest works were inspired by the famous artist, I decided to pay closer attention than I usually do to Hirst's work. I wasn't instantly taken in, but there are certain ambiance and layering effects that have me mesmerized by these paintings, especially the three pieces you see below, with Hirst in the foreground. The Blue Paintings Exhibition takes place at The Wallace Collection in London through January 24th, 2010.
