Dom Rebel X McDonald's??

So it turns out we are in a McDonald's commercial. Have we crossed that barrier between cult and commercial? No. We just like their hamburgers. And their spicy chicken sandwich. And hash browns. And McFlurries. And nuggets. And did anyone say McGriddle? HELLS YES!

FAKE SHIT

Thanks to some friends, we've come across some more fakes lately...

First, this photo was taken in Paris, France, of some guy walking around with a fake Beach Punk shirt (from our SS07 collection). Instead of 1982, on the banner it says 1983 and on the back they basically stole our banner and wrote their name instead of Dom Rebel. Lame....

Here is the back, it's kind of blurry but you can see that it's another name instead of Dom Rebel...
Next we have a picture taken in Miami, Florida, in a store window. They even have cheap little rhinestones placed on the skulls.

And here are the first fakes we found last year made in Peru...

Sir Elton John buys Dom Rebel at Holt Renfrew

We had some exciting news last week, as Sir Elton John stopped by Holt Renfrew in Montreal while in town, and went on a 30-minute shopping spree, picking up a few Swarovski Dom Rebel shirts, and spending over 27,000$ overall. We are very pleased to have been mentioned in the newspaper and on the news as one of the purchases of the very famous performer.

Elton John s'est payé une petite virée de magasinage lundi au centre-ville de Montréal. Il a flambé près de 30 000 $ en un éclair.
Sir Elton John a été vu vers 14 heures lundi dans les corridors du chic Holt Renfrew, rue Sherbrooke.
Il a profité d'une courte escale à Montréal pour magasiner, préférant sans doute la métropole à la ville de Saint. John, au Nouveau-Brunswick, où il se produisait hier soir.

Produits montréalais
Selon M. Louis, Elton John a flâné dans le magasin sans être importuné et sans signer d'autographes. Il était habillé d'un veston et ne portait pas ses fidèles lunettes.
En plus de nombreux vêtements, Elton John a acheté des foulards et plusieurs accessoires. Il a aussi jeté son dévolu sur quelques t-shirts de la marque montréalaise Dom Rebel.
Plusieurs vedettes, lors de leur passage à Montréal, s'arrêtent dans ce temple du luxe qu'est le magasin Holt Renfrew.
C'est le cas des Spice Girls, du pilote de F-1 David Coulthard, d'Hilary Duff, du groupe Oasis, de Céline Dion et de Nicky Hilton.
C'est le cas aussi de plusieurs stylistes de stars, dont celle de Sarah Jessica Parker, tête d'affiche de Sex and the City.
Elton John est en pleine tournée mondiale pour son spectacle The Red Piano. Jusqu'à la fin de 2008, il arpentera les États-Unis, l'Europe et sa mère patrie.
Rappelons qu'Elton John, 61 ans, est un des trois artistes, avec Beth Midler et Cher, à remplacer Céline Dion depuis son départ du Caesar's Palace de Las Vegas.

Well we finally have a blog for you to follow our every moves ever so closely. We will be posting all sorts of stupidities as well as some useful information once in a while. If you don't want to read what we post, then don't! Get the f**k out of here. We are doing this for our fans and our friends.

For anyone who doesn't know our brand, we are from Montreal and we make cool t-shirts. We own our company and sell our tees to over 275 stores in 22 countries. Justin is the designer, Don is the operator. And we spend way too much time together it's not even funny, it's actually pretty sad.
